Sales Order Management Software That Connects Customers, Products and Xero
Stock I T gives growing businesses a practical way to create and manage customer orders, add products or manufactured items, maintain quantities and pricing, track required dates and send completed orders to Xero as draft sales invoices.
Customer Orders
Create orders against active customers and keep order details together in one place.
Products & BOMs
Add normal products or manufactured items represented by BOMs to customer orders.
Pricing & Totals
Maintain order quantities and selling prices while Stock I T recalculates line and order totals.
Xero Invoicing
Send a customer order to a connected Xero organisation as a draft accounts-receivable invoice.
Keep the sales-order workflow connected
Customer orders can become difficult to manage when customer details, product lists, prices, required dates and accounting all live in different places. Stock I T keeps the operational order together from creation through to Xero invoicing.
Orders can carry an order date, required date, status and notes, while individual lines hold the item, quantity, unit price and line total. The overall order total is recalculated as lines change.
From customer order to accounting
Choose what the customer is ordering
Search and filter active products when adding order lines. Stock I T also supports BOM-based order lines, including standalone BOMs, so manufactured items can be represented without forcing every BOM to have a Product record.
Create the Xero invoice when you are ready
When Xero is connected, Stock I T can use the customer order to create a draft sales invoice in Xero, carrying the order number, dates, quantities, prices and configured sales account information.
Customer order software that works with the rest of Stock I T
Sales orders sit alongside inventory, purchasing, suppliers, manufacturing and Xero rather than operating as an isolated order-entry screen. That gives businesses room to use the parts of Stock I T that fit their workflow today and add more connected processes as their needs grow.
Stock I T does not claim that creating a customer order automatically allocates or deducts inventory. Inventory movements remain controlled by the relevant stock and manufacturing workflows.
Common questions
Can Stock I T manage customer or sales orders?
Yes. Customer orders include customer, order date, required date, status, notes, item lines, quantities, prices and order totals.
Can I sell manufactured items from a BOM?
Yes. Customer-order lines can represent normal Products or BOM-based finished items, including standalone BOMs.
Can customer orders be sent to Xero?
Yes. A customer order can be sent to the connected Xero organisation as a draft sales invoice when the required customer and order-line information is present.
Does entering a customer order automatically reduce stock?
No claim is made that order entry itself deducts stock. Stock movements remain part of Stock I T's inventory and manufacturing processes so operational stock changes stay controlled by the appropriate workflow.
