Saved Pick Lists that remember every item

Pick Lists are now permanent working documents rather than temporary screens. Open one from a Manufacturing Plan or Job, save progress as the warehouse works, and return later exactly where you left off.

New

Saved headers and lines

Each Job or Plan receives its own saved Pick List with component requirements and picking progress.

  • Required and actual picked quantities
  • Open, In Progress and Completed status
  • Picker name and picked date

Beautiful mobile cards

Warehouse staff see a clear card for each component with its image, SKU, quantity and storage details.

  • Product image for fast identification
  • Warehouse, location and bin
  • Sticky progress panel

Hide completed items

Turn on Hide picked items to keep the screen focused only on what remains.

  • Picked cards disappear immediately
  • Setting remembered per Pick List
  • Remaining-item count stays visible

Secure public warehouse links

Send a protected link to a warehouse manager or contract picker without creating another StockIT login.

  • Selectable expiry period
  • Replace or revoke a link instantly
  • Only that Pick List is exposed

Live autosave

Changing a quantity or marking an item picked writes directly back to the saved Pick List.

  • No separate Save button
  • Progress restored when reopened
  • Works internally and through shared links

Visual item identification

The current image from Materials / Items appears on every mobile Pick List card, with a clean placeholder where no image exists.

Supplier collaboration

Purchase Orders now continue beyond the PDF

StockIT can now operate as a powerful standalone Purchase Order solution. Email the formal PDF and give the supplier a secure, live Pick List for preparing the order—all from the same button.

1
Choose Deliver To
Select the business address or any active warehouse.
2
Email the PO
StockIT attaches the PDF and includes the delivery details.
3
Supplier opens Pick List
No StockIT login is required to view and prepare items.
4
Progress is saved
Prepared quantities and completion status update live.

PDF + secure Pick List email

The supplier receives the professional PO PDF plus a clear button opening the live order Pick List.

Deliver To modal

Choose the company address or a warehouse address before sending. The selected destination is frozen into the emailed order.

Google Maps directions

The email and supplier Pick List include an address-only Google Maps link for straightforward delivery navigation.

Supplier preparation screen

Suppliers see item images, supplier SKU, your SKU, requested quantity, notes and their own picked quantity.

Private by design

Supplier pages do not expose internal costs, stock levels, warehouse bins or other StockIT information.

Email from List or Edit

The same delivery and secure supplier workflow is available from both the Purchase Order list and the Edit page.

Stock organisation

Warehouses, locations and bins

StockIT now understands where materials belong, not just how many exist. Define warehouses, locations and bins, nominate defaults, and carry those storage details into picking workflows.

Multiple warehouses

Manage active warehouses for each company, including a default warehouse.

Locations

Break each warehouse into meaningful storage areas or zones.

Bins

Direct pickers to the exact bin where a component should be found.

Default storage

Assign default warehouse, location and bin details to Materials / Items.

Production control

Planning and Jobs work together

Manufacturing Plans can calculate requirements, help organise purchasing, generate Pick Lists and then move into Jobs without re-entering the production demand.

Plan production

Set finished items and quantities, then review the materials required before production begins.

Send Plan to Jobs

Create manufacturing Jobs directly from a Plan while carrying the frozen component requirements forward.

Smarter purchasing

Reuse open Purchase Orders where appropriate instead of creating unnecessary duplicate orders.

Plan Pick Lists

Create and save component Pick Lists directly from planned production demand.

Job Pick Lists

Pick against the quantities still required for a Job, using its saved Job lines.

Finished-item linking

Manufactured finished items link automatically into the production workflow and inventory view.

Accuracy and visibility

Better BOM costing and item control

Recent improvements make component costs, wastage, runtime and item behaviour clearer from setup through production.

Wastage-aware BOMs

Component requirements and material costs can include each BOM line’s wastage percentage.

Standard runtime

Record the expected manufacturing runtime so production costing can include labour and overhead decisions.

Expanded CSV imports

Import Materials / Items with storage defaults, stock/manufactured settings and the new Item Is Sold option.

Item Is Sold

Clearly separate saleable products from internal materials, components and packaging.

Manufactured highlighting

Inventory screens visually identify manufactured products for quicker recognition.

Decimal PO receiving

Receive quantities such as metres, kilograms and partial units without being restricted to whole numbers.
